If only Christmas in Australia included snow, mulled wine and scarfs we’d be able to show you our full winter collection for 2013. With no such luck here’s a sneak preview of the process in creating the second colour-way of our scarf.
To ensure the perfect combination and frequency of colours a number of small tests were created. From there a colour combo was chosen and a large scarf was put into production.
Weights are placed on the knit to ensure it doesn’t slip off the needles as the carriage is moved back and forth creating rows of knit. By continuously placing needles in and out of work a triangular pattern has been created.
